This is the website of the 5th Capitular District, Royal Arch Masons of Ohio (“the District”). We keep this site simple and collect as little information as possible.
What we collect
- Contact form. If you use the form on our Contact page, we receive your first name, last name, email address, and message. We use this only to read and respond to your message.
- Nothing else. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, we do not create user accounts on this site, and we do not sell or share your information for marketing.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking cookies. Some pages include content from other companies (listed below), and those companies may set their own cookies when that content loads. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time. Blocking them may stop embedded maps or the calendar from displaying.
Services we use
- Formspree (formspree.io) receives and forwards contact form submissions to us. See the Formspree privacy policy (opens in new tab).
- Google Maps and Google Calendar are embedded on the About and Calendar pages. Google may collect information such as your IP address and set cookies when these load. See the Google privacy policy (opens in new tab).
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver typefaces and code libraries used to display this site. They receive your IP address when your browser requests those files.
- GitHub Pages hosts this site and may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses. See the GitHub privacy statement (opens in new tab).
- Member Login links to Grandview, a separate system run by the Grand Chapter. It is not covered by this policy.
Your browser’s storage
When you dismiss the privacy notice at the bottom of the page, your browser remembers that choice on your own device so the notice does not reappear. It is not sent to us.
Keeping and deleting your information
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and for the District’s ordinary records. To ask us to delete a message you sent, email us at the address below.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
